Frank`s Pizza & Restaurant in Sparta

I came to this place because lot of friends mentioned it and I wanted to try. The place is really nice and comfy. I decided to dine in with my little brother and when we got the slices there were really cold and tried to return it and get a warm slice so we could enjoy the pizza. The guy from the cashier tried to charge me extra and he didn’t accept the slices because it had a small bite and he wasn’t able to put it back in the tray. Everyone deserves eat fresh food since we’re paying for it. Staff need to be more comprehensive even more when it’s about kids

The pizza is not bad as far as new york style goes in Houston. Crust is decent but not exactly the foldable deliciousness one expects from a yummy slice (or 2) of pie

They have a great atmosphere and an ever better staff. I was running late to work today so I was trying to purchase my lunch. Unfortunately I forgot my bank card at home. Thanks to one of the most sweetest employees EVER, he paid for my lunch out of his own pocket. I offered to cash app him but he respectfully declined. I will DEFINITELY come back... With my bank card of course lol

A Houston institution serving legendary pizza! Unfortunately in these covid-19 times no staff member was wearing masks or any form of PPE when I came in. They make great pizza and they shouldn't feel the need to mimic the majority of patrons that don't wear masks.

Great oven pizza! You have to fold one slice and eat it like a sandwich.

Love this late night pizza place. Make sure you get a fresh slice because the ones that have been sitting there for a bit don't really taste all that good. Yes I've had this pizza before and after going out and it delicious either way.

Their pizza tastes fantastic and it's a fun place with great employees. Choose your timing wisely because you may be surrounded by drunk ppl.

Good flavor, portion size, price, and great atmosphere. Very fast in and out for a slice and a beer.

So far So good I absolutely loved the nan actually ordered it twice & the curry was great definitely will be back.

The cheese pizza was excellent, and tasted very damn good! If the garlic powder would have been labeled, instantly distinguishing it from parmesan cheese, the experience would have been flawless hahaI will definitely go back, but in the future I would strongly recommend that the garlic powder to be placed in a different receptacle than what they keep parmesan cheese in, as it may be an issue for those with allergies..or your pizza might have a surprising taste.

Great service and people working there. My only experience is during the lunch rush and typically you'll want to get there a little early. The actual restaurant is kind of small inside but it has a lot of character. There is seating upstairs in the back and some up front. The seating area is clean and maintained. Prices are very reasonable; they have a lunch buffet and it has plenty of choices.

Crispy crust. Delicious, fresh and hot out of the oven. Pretty crowded for 11pm when we were there. No one wearing masks. Not complaining about that. Just for your info.

Cold AC, hot delicious pizza. Many other menu items like burgers and wings, but we only had pizza. My mate went back for a 3rd slice!

If you haven't had Frank's pizza, go to your Outlook calendar, invite some friends and head down asap. Really good pizza, this place is an Instutution. And there is Frank's backyard right next door where you can chill with friends have a beer with your pizza.

Excellent pizza. We had the supreme. If you order an XL, you can get free order of bread sticks (check for their coupon online). Good service. Fast. Great place to eat. Reasonably priced (check them on their website). If you're partying on Main St. this is the place to eat afterwards. But late at night, they don't have seating, and you walkthrough, place your order and take it to go. Earlier in the day/night they have seating inside.

Burgers are amazing!! The burger is bigger than an average fast food restaurant and I high recommend this place to eat or hangout.

Man Frank's is iconic in Houston. You can come here during the day or late night. You leave equally as happy! Keep doing a great job!

I really like this pizza place. The food was good. Make flavoured chicken wings. I really only ate two slices since the pizza was really big.

Good pizza, ignorant ownership/management. Prior to lockdown, I ate at Frank's at least once a week since I've worked downtown for the past three years. I had gone to support them in April and they were adhering to guidelines restricting occupancy and takeout only. Now that those guidelines have been relaxed, they have completely disregarded any practices of hygiene. At least 10 workers were crammed behind the counter and not a single person was wearing gloves or a mask. The one employee with a mask wasn't wearing it at all (he even had to cough into his shirt the few minutes I was there). Taking my business elsewhere, which is too bad because their pizza is good.

Frank's is a staple for late night food after the bars. It's great the first few times, but be sure to explore a little. There is a lot of pizza competition in Houston.

Soo I’ve been coming here everyday now for a couple of weeks during my lunch break and I figured I might as well leave them a review. Pizza is great obviously and the staff is super friendly and awesome. They’re quick, and very professional.

Frank's Pizza is a good pizza place to go to to hang out for a bit with friends or family. They offer a variety of Pizzas,Sandwiches, and lasagna with some special pizzas I rarely see at other places, like the Pesto Chicken pizza( super good). Overall its a nice small place to hang out with friends and grab a bite.

Got pizza /wings/ and lasagna here last night, the food was really good. Tried the meat special pizza, and hot buffalo wings and the beef lasagna. The pizza and lasagna were on point from dough to sauce everything was perfect. The wings I ordered hot but they were lacking the hot I was expecting but tasty nonetheless. This is a busy joint and I can see why. Definately give this place a shot.

If you have not tried this place you are missing out. We went right after the Harry Potter symphony on our way back to the parking garage. Loved the New York city vibe. Employees where very nice and the prices per slice where amazing. Cheese for $2.75. the best was the Nashville hot pizza. It surprised us with amazing flavor and wanting to eat every bite of the crust. we will definitely be back when we go back down town.The wings where definitely not our type of flavor flav. They are not fried and did not have a great crisp or enough sauce on the side if you wanted more buffalo flavor. Where not bad but the pizza was so much better for price.

Best 🍕 in town. Also their chicken wings are out of this world. I Highly recommend Franks Pizza you wont regret trying it😋

The absolute best pizza, hands down! Even though I work remotely now, I still drive downtown for Frank's at least once a week. Very highly recommended!

Wonderful place for lunch, dinner, or just a snack. You can buy a whole pie, or just a slice. They only use quality, fresh ingredients, and I Mean VERY fresh! I have seen them grilling fresh chicken and such! Try them out if you haven't yet, You're worth this level of excellence! psst...they deliver too!!!😉

New York style in downtown Houston. Not really a looker, but it's an institution for a reason. Great pizza, cheap prices, friendly staff. The additional seating upstairs and next door mean you won't be without a place to sit. You should go. And go again and again.

Great environment very delicious pizza and wow all these reviews there show shows it all how much people love this place. On the critical aspect it’s time for them to setup a phone text messaging system that tells you when exactly your order is ready to be picked up that would help a lot in premises of downtown. Sorry for bad camera it’s time to change my phone lol 😂

Bad customer service and accuracy! I ordered a large cheese pizza. No meat as I CANNOT eat pork. Received a large pepperoni pizza with pineapple and jalapeños. Did not realize this until I made it home. Called and spoke to the manager OMAR who did not offer to deliver the correct pizza, did not offer a refund, he simply said he would give me 50% off my next visit. I then insisted on a refund and a discount toward the correctly made pizza that same day instead, considering I would have to drive back. He said no. Only a refund. What a waste of an hour ordering, driving to, and picking up a pizza. Worst customer service.

Had it during the day for a takeout. Pretty good pizza, but it tastes more like that late night after drinking kind of pie. Will definitely be back for more another day.

Too many items on the menu which means the products aren’t fresh. The pizza is super oily and greasy, The tables aren’t clean.

Usually Love franks but tried to order now during the quarantine to support a favorite business and they agreed to deliver to the address I told them. Then 5 minutes later called back to say they won’t deliver to me because I’m 2 blocks outside the delivery radius (which they were aware of during the initial call since I told them my address). I then even offered to walk the 2 blocks to meet them at the Edge of delivery zone and they said no to that too. Pick up not an option for me. Won’t be wasting my time trying to support them in the future

Let me start by saying the food was actually pretty good. We ordered pizza, wings, and jalapeño poppers. What dropped the rating was the delivery kid.. we asked for change so that we could tip him but his smart remarks made us regret tipping him at all. And being a family who has worked in customer service and management for a long time we know what is expected. He needs to be taught how to speak with customers.. If it wasn’t for him we would probably order again from here. It’s nice that the place is open late, and again the food is good. The kid just killed it for us.

Easily the best pizza on a Saturday night with some of the best service! The guys were helpful and made sure we walked away happy! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great place for a quick slice on the go or a dinner with family and friends. Dinning area a bit small but never have had an issue not finding a spot. They do have an optional gluten free pizza crust. Friendly staff every visit.

Was here for lunch while being a slave for a jury duty calling. Going here made it worth my day. I do remember it was a great visit. Family made authentic New York style pizza ready for ya at the snap of a finger by the slice, or the whole thing. Military discounts given here. Very nice of them to do this. Just as good as Grimaldi's IMHO. Prices are amazingly reasonable for a downtown location restaurant. Everyone behind the counter is so friendly. Felt very at-home here.

Drove al the way downtown to try some quoted amazing pizza. A large is $17 and boy is it a wallet killer. It’s a decent pizza spot but it’s not worth the hype nor the price. Mediocre slice.
